so sorry for your loss knowing how painful this feeling is lost my dear father 6 months ago now its been a long and painful journey each day brings new emotions its the hardest thing ive ever had to go through take your time to grieve only time will heal

You and I share a similar story - my Mum was diagnosed with lung cancer and she died three weeks after diagnosis. I know how difficult this is for you. If you’re like me at the time I was when my Mum died, you’ll be still coming to terms with the diagnosis (which is awful when cancer has already taken your loved one at the same time).
Was your lovely Dad poorly for long? My Mum had was ill for a couple of months before she was diagnosed but cancer wasn’t picked up by her GP or even considered.
This forum is a great place to be if you ever needed any support. Sadly, there are lots of people who are also experiencing the same loss.
I was really afraid to attend the funeral of my Mum...I thought I may break down and not get through it. However....I did get through it without incident and I am sure you will too xx
