My wonderful husband, Tim, who was my soulmate and best friend left this earth on Sunday 2nd December. He died peacefully surrounded by love. Tim went in to St Giles hospice on Tuesday 27th November and was never alone. He was looked after by his little family and the amazing nurses at St Giles. We are all in shock as it has only been 6 weeks since his diagnosis and we thought we would have longer with him. Tim never moaned and just got on with his life and even as he got weaker still remained the man I love and respect, he was my gentle, dignified, selfless, funny and caring husband until he took his last breath. Our family are so lucky and privelidged to have had him with us in our lives.
Learning to live without him will be so hard but I made a promise to him to dry my tears and begin to laugh and smile again
