mum

hi, im new to this group,

i lost my mum last night to lung cancer, she had radiation back in march, and then started to feel pain in her stomach and back, recently she went to a&e and then was then taken to a hospice, where they looked after her amazingly, i thought she would come home but then she declined all of a sudden, stop drinking ans was put on a drive, before i knew it, we were there to say goodbye,

now i miss her like crazy and have no words for how i feel, but i feel empty and feel like i will never lose this pain, one minute i think i can handle this, the next im in a full on breakdown and anger. mode, im so scared of facing a funeral, im just really frightened, ive never gone through this before, does it ever get better?

will i always feel this empty?

x

  • Losing a parent or a child is probably the worst pain you  will ever have to face ,most people have been there and I can guarantee they have all felt the same pain as you are feeling ,all I can really say is it will take a while and there is no time limit so don't try to rush through your grief ,my grief lasted over a year for me to feel better but everyones different ,Its good you found this site its good to chat whenever you feel like it there's always someone here for you ,I hope it goes as well and as easy as possible for all your family .
