My father passed away following a very short illness. 5 weeks ago we found out he had AML and 5 weeks later he passed away. 
 

We were such a close family and we are all in so much pain. I am struggling to process the pain alongside the shock. 
 

It was all so fast and whilst we knew for a few days he would pass, I can't quite believe it has happened (although the pain reminds me of just how real it is). 
 

if anyone has been through anything similar it would be of comfort to hear people's stories and coping mechanisms as I'm truly at a loss. I am 26.
