A very warm welcome to the Cancer Chat community Char although I'm sorry to hear your dad's been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer.

Finding out a loved one has cancer can be very tough and, understandably, bring about many emotions but I'm glad you've joined us as many of our members will know what you're going through and hopefully some of them will be along soon to offer their support and advice.
