I am so sorry to hear your husband was taken into hospital last night with pneumonia. One thing is sure you definitely haven't let him down. You rang 999 and that was the most important thing and he is now in very capable hands I am sure and they will do everything they can in hospital to fight this. It must be so hard, especially in the current climate, not to be with him. I hope you are kept regularly updated as to how he is doing.

Let us know if you get a moment how he is. We are keeping everything crossed that he recovers very quickly from this. You must be very worried at the moment and I just wanted you to know we are there for you if you need to chat.

He is very ill the morphine has had an effect on his kidneys so he is now on a synthetic morphine he is also constipated his haemoglobin is low ...he has pneumonia and is so tired
