Just looking for a bit of advice.
Mum diagnosed 14 months ago, tried chemo but reacted badly and ended up with sepsis. Tried lower dose and only 1 drug for the course. Cancer still growing. March oncologist decided she couldn't have treatment, due to reactions so passed over to hospice.
Last few weeks she has lost her voice, scan shows fluid around heart and lungs, they arw not removing it. Her mood has slipped and crys every few days. And has spent the last 6 days in bed. Says legs ache, her appetite has decreased too. She has morphine for her breathing and cough. Is this the start of her slipping away. I think I just want to prepare to help her as much as possible.
