Hello, I saw this post and it resonated with me. My mum has today been admitted to a hospice after only 11 weeks since diagnosis. I am heartbroken. I just don't know what to do. I'm really rubbish at talking to people about it, I can't deal with sympathy so do all my crying in private at night on my own. By just know you aren't alone. Xx

Dav6 and Renoir I am so sorry to hear about your dear Mums.

I lost my Mum in January. She had bravely battled stage 4 pancreatic cancer for 2 years and was 62 when she lost her fight.

I miss my Mum terribly, and now having been diagnosed with breast cancer myself, I must draw on her brave spirit and positivity and fight mine with the strength she had throughout her battle. 

Mums last stage was heartbreaking to watch, Dav6 I know how hard it is to see someone in pain and the person you love slowly fade. You mentioned your Mum is in alot of pain, is she being looked after by palliative care? They should be able to offer your Mum medication to make her as comfortable as possible.
