  • Hello Eeyore70

I'm sorry to hear about your partners diganosis and the approaching anniversary of your Mum's passing. It sounds like it's a particularly difficult time for you at the moment.

Having carers in to support you and your partner doesn't necessarily mean that his time is limited. It's not uncommon for people who are bed bound to have some level of support from carers as it's important for his comfort and safety as well as yours.

Does your partner have a specialist nurse? They would be a good first point of contact to talk through your concerns and would be best placed to answer your questions about how things may progress. However you're very welcome to chat to one of our nurses for some advice and support. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

    Best wishes,
