My partner was diagnosed 5 yrs ago with advanced prostate cancer it spread to his lymph nodes he had chemotherapy n radiotherapy hormone injections which got rid of the cancer from his lymph nodes he was doing really well till Christmas he started getting severe back pain I was worried it was something more but his oncologist didn’t think it was anything to worry about cos his psa was really low in April his oncologist wanted him to have a ct scan due to this covid his not had a ct scan however last Thursday he had is psa done now yesterday oncologist has rang n said his psa has rose quite high in a short space of time which means the cancers somewhere else I’m angry he didn’t get a ct scan in April I know this covid pandemic has been going on and everything gs been put on hold but if he had his ct scan in April they might of found were it’s spread to that bloody cancer has had 3 months to spread elsewhere I’m just worried it’s not gone to his bones as my friends brothers prostate cancer went to his bones he didn’t survive long sorry for the long post
