bless you i totally understand what you are going through my husband has squamous cell carcinoma which has gone to his lungs he too is only on pallative treatment:( he is 37 and we have just had a baby it's heartbreaking to watch them go through it all he has finished his chemotherapy and just had his scan back but the cancer has grown :( not what we expected so he is now going onto immunotherapy fingers crossed this helps x

Chemo was the only option. No immunotherapy as he won't react it's a rare cancer . I can't even spell it ..what a bad year this started out to be.. my family say I'm in a bad mood..we haven't spoke for 3months. Ppl say I'm pushing ppl away..maybe I am but I don't mean to.. I help my partner as much as I can I pray   after chemo maybe they will be another treatment available. Hate how there is no cure just a treatment.. that's hard to think about. The side effects arn't as bad as he expected. So day by day we take it. Support of family would be good. But in this case it's hards to say an ask the right things. Feels like there just backing away from me..alone scared an sick of not talking about it I could scream from the roof tops. in fact I could rip the roof tops off...the way I feel...this must be normal...everyday I cry everyday is the same nightmare can't sleep propley ..wake up feeling back in a dream tears flow as I Wright this ...I've needed to speake about this do much ...kezza I wish you luck an be safe thank you ... oh bless your heart i know how hard it is and i often have breakdowns it is the hardest journey and i cant imagine how they are feeling. if you want to chat im always here and its hard to get the support because they are not going through it they expect you to be happy and upbeat all the time. its good to explain yourself to them of how your feeling xx

Suger is a deffo no no cancer feeds of suger I'm I wrong??

Recent stories circulating on the internet and media have led many people to think that 'sugar feeds cancer'. The websites sharing this information are very convincing and suggest that it comes from upstanding doctors at prestigious institutions. No one can blame you for believing sugar is linked to cancer. There are more than one million websites capitalizing on this fear and virtually none offering the science.

But it is nothing more than an urban myth, the result of misunderstood and distorted science. We would always advocate a healthy diet and so there is no harm in cutting down on sugary snacks and drinks but this isn't a cure for cancer. The links Steph has provided will give you more information about this and I hope that reassures you.
