Hello. I'm not sure if I've posted this in the right section. But I really need some advice or help on what support I can get for my mum who is currently the carer for both my auntie and dad who are going through chemo/radiotherapy. My auntie has had it for a few months but has really bad anxiety so refuses to go to any appointments without my mum but now my dad has been diagnosed recently my mum is trying to support him too. There is now a clash of appointments and as it's my dad's first Chemo session my mum wants to go with him but it's the same day my auntie would be having blood tests and seeing the professor. She's emotionally pressuring my mum to try and do both appointments which I think is really unfair, but I guess my question is, is there any support for people who have no one else? Would the hospital come and pick her up? Do they offer chaperone services to appointments for people with anxiety? If I don't do something soon my mum is going to breakdown
