Hi can anybody offer any help or advice, mum has been battling breast cancer since august 2015 she was told it was terminal after going back for the routine follow up and being told that they had also seen spots on the bones , this was definitely the biggest blow for her and all of us to deal with..
there has been spread to the bones, lung, and 4 months ago the dreaded liver.
its been a long hard battle which at many times has made us feel like the end of the road is very near , but she will suddenly surprise us and pick up and battle on again. Thank god x
however a few days after Christmas I arrived to find that my mum (we thought had ) suffered a stroke , thank god it turns out this was Bell's palsy which I have researched and discovered can be common in people whom like her have had lots of chemo and radiotherapy.
so to the point so sorry to ramble - mums not getting up much in the last month and her appetite seems to have gone missing completely , drinking much less and is complaining of a headache for the last week (I must add she has recently had a scan that showed nothing in the head) and she feels very sick all the time
we have had a visit from the palliative care nurse who says she will be back and visit again but I am worried sick about the eating and tiredness , am I being naive to think that this is abnormal , shall I just encourage her to drink the ensure when she can ??????
I am so sorry for the long post but any advice will be so appreciated I'm very alone on this as we are a family that doesn't really talk about these things we would find it too difficult
