Only the doctor can confirm whether the cancer is back or not so I hope the results come through soon. The doctor could also suggest ways to combat the exhaustion and depression. There are also a great organisations like Mind and Calm that can help with the depession. Mind also has an online service for urgent advice if you'd rather not speak to someone on the phone.

Many Thanks for your reply. Yes you are right, but with the internet we are bound to be curious and research it and I just want some hope that the info ive read about oral thrush and cancer and his symptoms are all wrong! He said he won't go through with any treatment again. Trying to keep positive its like time has stopped and you can't live with treatment either :-(

It's important that he talks to his medical team just as you have posted Joolznpaul. Depending on the results, they will be able to manage the situation for you and refer you for any support available.

I can understand that it's difficult sometimes, but remaining positive helps take your mind off things and helps your wellbeing.

I'm not a doctor. I was treated for prostate cancer 10 years ago, and just last month I had a TURBT operation for bladder cancer. 

If your PSA is stable then it's unlikely that your prostate cancer has returned, and I don't think that the symptoms you mention are likely to be caused by a relapse.
