Hello everybody, I am new one here. My father was diagnosed with melanoma stage IIIC. That was pretty big shock for the whole family. He is the type who keeps family together, we all love him so much!! I just wanted to ask, his organs are all clear, but he has metastases arround the scar. He has really horrible pain in this place. He has just started with first keytruda treatment. The scar with metastases is red an started to pain more and spread. He is not able to walk due to pain. I am absolutely helpless, just watch him suffer so much. It kills me inside.
1.Is that possible that metastases could react on treatment in this way ( spreading red area) ? (only 3 days after first infusion)
2.Will the pain dissapear with treatment?
3.Is here anybody who had pain and metastases in skin? Not in organs? What can help him with this pain?
He sais it hurts like fire.
Sorry for my English :-)
