Has anyone else needed to see GP for help. Struggling on with everything. Hospital appointments averaging 4 times a week. Just so exhausted. Hoping for something positive from doc. Don't know if they can help

Hiya,
Hospital trips can be seriously gruelling especially when your making them all the time. I did visit my GP but for emotional reasons. I don't know what the doctors will be able to do for you but if your struggling I think visiting your GP is definitely a good idea, usually there is something that they can give you to help you.

Thanks Bex
Have suffered with anxiety for many years so I suppose this is all part and parcel. The situation is a very stressful one for all of us carers. Emotionally all over the place but determined to get through and support him
Hi,
It does get easier. We had hospital visits each day Mon-Fri for 6 weeks. Also had up to 1 1/2 hours travelling time each way. It's hard, tiring and stressful. No harm in seeing the GP, he might be able to give you something to help. Another suggestion, maybe if a friend could take him one day a week.

Determination is a good trait to have I think, cancer journeys are exhausting for many different reasons and I admire your dedication to keep going and support as much as you can. I hope the doctors can help but otherwise the way I got through all the running around was coffee im afraid, im sorry I cant be more help.
