Hi there.
So my boyfriends dad has stage 4, distant, osophegal cancer.
He's finished his radiotherapy treatment and is now awaiting the results on how sucessful it was.
He has lost a lot of weight, is in a lot of pain, namely through reflus and constipation.
He's weak but still able if you get what i mean? he can walk about on days where he feels ok, but most the time he sleeps.
Im looking for advice on what i can do to cheer him up, as food isnt an option! and he cant really go out so he just has to sit in his living room with us except on days he can manage a walk to somewhere nice.
Also- have you/ do you know anyone who had this/ currently has it?
How long did they live? icve looked at the survival rate for his stage and only 5% live past 5 years.
Personal experiences would be SO helpful.
My boyfriend is very positive and i dont want to take that away from him, but i feel like his positivity is slightly naive. I hope i am wrong.
Any information will be really appreciated. I feel at a loss.
Thankyou so much.
