Hi my mum has started chemo for non Hodgkin lymphoma..she is 64 I am 40 should I be screened for lymphoma or is there a test available to screen for it
At the moment there is no reliable screening test for NHL. I can understand your fears and I think it's reasonable to discuss them with your GP. I suggest you familiarise yourself with symptoms of NHL but please don't get too paranoid - the vast majority of swollen nodes are caused by infection, not cancer.
