Worried about husbands cancer

Hi my husband has penile cancer he has had a total penectomy , we have found out cancer has spread to lymph nodes and pelvis we are waiting for pet scan results we know he has got to have chemo and radio treatment i am concerned as he is getting a lot of back ache im really struggling to keep positive x
