So my Dad has recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Oral Cancer (T4a n2b m0),
In the space of 4 weeks (Week 1 was MRI/CT Scan) he has gone from being able to speak and eat properly to now not being able to talk or swallow. Everything is progressing really fast and whilst we are all trying to stay strong it is overwhelming seeing how much pain he is in.
He will be having surgery, radiotheraphy and chemo in due course, but people we have spoken to are suggesting a whole range of alternative therapies to help in the lead up to treatment including; Ketone diets, alkaline diets, cannabis oil, bioresonance therapy, massage therapy etc.
Has anyone else been in this situation, what did you do and how do you cope?
