Welcome to Cancer Chat Helen.
I'm glad to hear your husband is doing well with his treatment so far but I can understand your need for wanting to know when the side effects may begin. I think everyone reacts differently but I would recommend giving our cancer nurses a call as they will be able to give you more information. Their freephone number is 0808 800 4040 and they are available Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m.
Best wishes to you both,
Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
