Side effects

Husband has lung cancer started his chemotherapy and radiotherapy giving him 2 kinds of chemo and the radio every day for this week he's been really fine I'm wondering when the side effects will kick in

    I'm glad to hear your husband is doing well with his treatment so far but I can understand your need for wanting to know when the side effects may begin. I think everyone reacts differently but I would recommend giving our cancer nurses a call as they will be able to give you more information.   • Hi Helen119 . I started my first chemo on 16th may for breast cancer and i was sick within an hour of getting home i had to ring the oncology out of hours and a nurse came to give me a sickness injection . i felt dizzy and very tired , today i seem to have picked up a little so im hoping im on the mend. oncology told me everybody reacts differently and some dont feel too ill. Im also having two types of chemo , im having radio after surgery. I wish you and your husband good luck
