Michaela, I think you need to go back to the oncologist and ask what they are going to do for him. They should be providing him with palliative care if they can't give him chemo, surgery or radiotherapy. My husband has kidney cancer that has metastacised in his stomach and he is on immunotherapy drug pazopanib.
You need to write down all the questions you want to know and see what answers you get. What is the plan?etc for your dad. Hope this helps a little and so sorry to hear about your dad's problems.
