im so sorry to hear that about your daughter, so sad, i hope you are all managing to cope, you have come to the right place, i joined only a few days ago, but it has helped hugely already. im sure others with the same kind of cancer will soon be in touch.

My partner has Secondary Breast Cancer too. Hers has been in her sternum and spine since diagnosis four years ago. She has had new tumours develop in her spine. 

I understand that cancer moving to the Liver is a whole different matter. From the beginning we have had the support of a local hospice. If you haven't got their support, I would really urge you to get a referral. They are more accessible and their knowledge of symptom and side effect management is superior. 

Eg when I told our oncologist that my partner  was struggling to remember nouns he immediately thought she should be tested for a brain tumour whilst I just wanted someone to look at tweaking her meds. The hospice have tried to help with this. 

It feels particularly painful with a small child involved. At the risk of being to blunt, can I urge you to video your daughtee now, before she changes. My partner ha gained weight, lost Wright and her voice has drastically changed during our journey.

Thanks for your message - I think the video idea is a really good one, and we should do that.  We're all going to a bonfire party tomorrow, so I will start there, and build a library for my granddaughter.
