Hello all,
My Dad has terminal cancer (both lungs, oesophogus and bones) and the hospice have said it is time for a syringe driver in order to help him with the pain. He is only awakew about an hour each day and in that hour he is vommitting and uncomfortable ... so i hope it helps. SOmethign the nusrse said scared me though. She said with a lot of people, once they go on a syringe driver they often become even more sleepy and non communicative ... so i am scared that iw on't be able tot alk to him again. What are other people's experiences of syringe drivers? He will be having morpheine and anti sickness through the driver.
Many thanks
