my amazing little mum

Hi I'm new here. I found out a week ago my mum has suspected lung cancer. I am trying my hardest to be upbeat for her but not sure if that's the right way to be with her? I feel like I want to scream how unfair this is as she is due to retire this year and has had a pretty tough life anyway. I'm not sure if I'm handling it very well I just keep crying and I'm feeling so much guilt if I've done something where I've had a nice time and if I've been laughing at something I suddenly feel like I'm being pulled back into reality and feel so guilty is this normal?? I don't think the not knowing is helping we find out on the 23rd would the doctors say they suspected it if they weren't sure??

  • I am sure you are finding it aweful for your mum and you. Its a frightening thing - C! If it turns out to be true = then be assured the treatments are good. Keep well yourself KiKi and how your emotions is normal = I went up one day = down the next = tears later. Its so bewildering Mr C is !! The doctors will be trying very hard to kick Mr C out of Mums life -

Let us know how she does and what the diagnosis is = I have got everything crossed its okay

    Hugs to you
