  • Dear Bill - I was so sorry to read your post and can only imagine what pain you and your family are going through. My daughter was admitted to hospital with meningitis last month and it was 'touch and go' for a week as to whether she would make it through - I will never forget our feelings of helplessness watching her battle for her life, it was horrendous - but thankfully she made it!  I have terminal cancer and know only too well how much it affects every aspect of my families lives - it is a frightening disease and you feel like you are on a roller-coaster of highs of hope and lows of despair. All I can say is that I hope it comforts you in some small way to know that others are going through the same and know how desperate you feel. Try and take each day at a time and stay strong for your family, and never give up hope. Sending you my love and prayers. Max

  • Dear Max,

Thank you for your kind words of comfort, I am so happy your daughter is well after her illness and hope and pray Max that you receive a miracle with your own illness because they do happen every day.

    Bill. x

  • Glad to hear from you and please let me know how Carrie is doing when you get the chance! You can always private msg if you dont want to post on the forum I think. Sending lots of strength to you and your wife and here's hoping for the same miracle for you all. Max x
