Welcome to the forum Lukamac although I'm really sorry to hear your mum has been diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.

After being given such life changing news it's completely understandable, and natural, to be experiencing a lot of thoughts and emotions right now but we are here for you and are sending you all our strength and support.

Hopefully some of our members who have been in a similar situation with their parents or loved ones will share their experiences and advice with you soon but if it would help to talk any of this through with one of our cancer nurses, you can give them a call on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're really easy to talk to and with their knowledge and insight they will do all they can to support you.

I know there's nothing I can say or do that will make this any easier but I hope being part of a community that knows what you're going through can offer some comfort and help you feel less alone at this very difficult and challenging time.
