Hi everyone

After a period of illness, put down to chest infections, steroids, three different antibiotics, my Mum was taken to hospital by ambulance on Friday at 5am. We received the news today that she has stage 4 lung cancer. CT shows probable involvement of liver and stomach. It still hasn't sunk it yet, I don't think. I am devastated. We are in limbo as the doctors can't even give us a treatment plan yet, if any, until they do a biopsy but my Mum is too weak at the moment for any intervention. How do you cope with the very real and likely fact you are going to lose someone? She is 67
