Hi Paul,  I am sorry to hear about your wife's diagnosis.  It is very scary for the whole family when someone is diagnosed with cancer.  Maybe it is her way of coping so she feels a bit more in control.  You are right she has ages to do this but maybe she feels better knowing everyone and everything is taken care of.  You can always give the helpline on here a call and talk it through with one of the nurses.  When she gets a treatment plan put in place she and hopefully you will feel better and have more information so you feel better equipped to deal with this.  Good luck.
