• i would ask your mums team as my hubby hospital doesnt allow anyone to stay during chemo plus put together a chemo bag of things for Mums comport it will be a long day for her

what kind of things could I put in the bag?

Warm jumper or similar some chemo can make them sensitive to cold ( hospital blankets are thin)

Phone and charger 

Book magazine kindle   head phones or what your Mum would prefer  it will help pass the time

My hubby took fizzy drinks and snacks  because they were what he likes.

Hope this helps 

I would suggest some slippers, a pillow if you have a favourite one, blanket and anything else that you may find comforting. I mean your mum. 
Also I would just ask the nurses on the chemotherapy ward. It’s different everywhere. Hope all goes well. Xxx
