Support ♡Hubby's cancer ♡

Hello everyone

I have only just come across this support forum thankfully. I'm here to... I'm not sure why but to talk to others & be their if anyone else wants to talk..

My hubby was diagnosed with stage 3 hodgkin's lymphoma 3 months ago, hes 47, we was absolutely shell shocked as you are but it's an emotional & difficult time. Hes having 6 month of chemotherapy half way their. It's hard for him he has some nasty side effects from the chemo, I feel like I cant do anything to help him, its natural Instinct for you to feel this way, to want to make him better, its tough isnt it, its hard watching him go through it bless him. Trying to keep positive! Can anyone relate?

im trying to support my hubby after being diagnosed with stage 3  low rectal cancer in September. Complications meant his radiotherapy/chemo didn’t start til January- 5 weeks daily radiotherapy.
by the end of that he was completely done!  Not the best place to receive radiotherapy as you still have to function (if you know what I mean )

3 weeks after that he started CAPOX Infusion last Friday.  He has days where he’s so down and nothing I say is right and he gets really snappy.
that’s not him and it’s so hard dealing with it all.

I can so relate to your situation. I’m trying to stay focused and tell myself it’s the drugs that are making him like this.
we have a saying in our family when people  wind you up being idiots or rude. Smile and wave !

Ive been doing a lot of that lately.  Deep breaths and

enaure you have time for you too

Hope his treatment is going well.
