Hello Mjgljok,
This is such a sad situation and I am so sorry your partner was diagnosed only 3 months ago and he is receiving palliative treatment. I suspect he has a palliative care team that you can talk to hopefully if you need support and if you wanted to have a chat with our cancer nurses, they are available on this free number 0808 800 4040 - their helpline is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
You are doing your very best and it's a lot of pressure to be under juggling so many balls, trying to be strong for him and the family but the feeling that your world is falling apart can be overwhelming. I thought I would share with you our information for Family, Friends and Carers which gives great tips on how to support someone with cancer but also crucially on taking care of yourself. I also wanted to mention this thread I have just come across and responded to - Symosam 's husband was also diagnosed with advanced cancer and I think you would have a lot to say to one another and that you may be able to support one another through this difficult time. Other members who have been through something similar may pop by too and share their story with you.
You are not alone here and I just wanted you to know that we are all thinking of you and your partner. Keep us updated on how you get on if you don't mind.
Best wishes,
Lucie, Cancer Chat Moderator
