It's good to hear your son is doing well, although I'm sorry to hear you are struggling with the sleep issues at the moment.
I'm not sure if you have tried anything to help with this - NHS offers some tips and methods which may be useful to have a look at. It may also be worth looking at the relaxation and breathing exercises that Maggie's talk about. There are also apps available that can help, such as Headspace and others.
I hope that some of this can be useful and in the meantime, hopefully you'll get some more replies to your post here soon.

My partner has just been diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia and I'm too struggling to sleep. Finding myself up early hours in the morning waiting for it to get light enough to go for a walk to try and clear my head. Did you find anything that helped?
Hi sorry to hear that. camomile tea helps .also sleep ease from boots although I'm still struggling sometimes. I wake early hours can't go back I think its our minds racing with thoughts.i hope he gets better soon.try to keep a positive mindset .Best wishes xx
