I am so sorry about your son's diagnosis and everything he has been through in the last few weeks. It must be so hard for a mum to have to go through this - it is completely understandable that you are feeling drained and the next steps do sound difficult for any parent to have to bear. Being told he may have to go through amputation of his leg must be so difficult to hear. This must be such a tough time for you and your loved ones and I just wanted you to know that you are not alone and we are all here for you anytime you need to talk to others who understand and who may have been diagnosed with sarcoma or also supported a loved one with sarcoma before. I had a little look on our forum and found for example Solo19 's thigh sarcoma thread - this member was diagnosed with a thigh sarcoma a few months ago so feel to reply to their post if you would like to share your story and experience. It does help to talk to others who may have been through something similar recently. You may have already heard of this charity, but Sarcoma UK offer a range of support to anyone diagnosed with or concerned about sarcoma and they have a support line you can contact and details of support groups available locally and online. 

Our cancer nurses are also available on this free number 0808 800 4040 if there is anything you would like to talk through with them - their helpline is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm so don't hesitate to get in touch with them at any point.
