Welcome to the forum voice-of-revelation although I'm really sorry to hear about your sister's diagnosis and situation. I can't begin to imagine how difficult and upsetting this must be for you both.

If your sister is not comfortable or able to discuss her relationship with her doctor then I hope some of the helplines provided on this webpage will help. As you'll see, there are a range of contact numbers that your sister can call which provide support and advice for anyone who is experiencing sexual and/or domestic violence.

As to whether your sister is able to access medical treatment in the UK, I hope this information we have about cancer treatment for overseas visitors will help.

o had the same diagnosis last year , treatment hete in Uk is absolutely amazing tgere is no need to sort out custody just yet your sister will be around msny many years after this , I hope you find a way to get your sister the help she needs to blast the cancer

If your sister is permitted to come here for treatment from what I've heard there are delays in getting diagnosed / results  and  also delays in treatment resulting from the backlog from covid ,so if I were you I would definitely seek out private treatment it would be a lot quicker .

its horrible isnt it? Covid really messed alot of things up thats for sure

Yes it certainly did there were millions of people waiting for treatment I don't know how bad it still is but a friend  Social Media said he started chemo but its very hit and miss whether he gets it it keeps getting cancelled because of shortness of staff ,another one said they are waiting months ,that's why many are deciding to go private .

oh never same name that’s crazy , I totally agree with Jenny , private if you can due to shortages , your sister is gunna be ok try and take one day at a time this initial shock is the worst . .

if you could try and get her home and book a appointment things will move straight away
