Your mum's story is truly heartbreaking and I am really sorry that they diagnosed her too late when the tumour had already spread. It's so sad that she collapsed shortly after having just one dose of chemotherapy and her bowel was perforated. It sounds like she has been going through so much and I can imagine it has been devastating news to you to be told that she is not allowed any more treatment. It's so hard to witness all this and to feel so powerless. Perhaps you could try and talk to her medical team to see whether there is anything they could offer to make her more comfortable and prolong her life or you could ask them any questions that spring to your mind so that you get some clarity as to what her options might be at this stage.
