Hi there
My sister was diagnosed with a high grade right frontal glioma on the 11th March 2022 without any warning at all, she had just been a bit distracted/vacant for 2 weeks prior and had 2 dizzy/fainting spells. She is 49. Due to the extend of the tumor no treatment has been offered and she is now in a hospice. We are really confused by her symptons and are keen to know if anyone else has experienced what we are seeing and going through? She is currently only on steriods and a couple of other things to make her comfortable.
She is weak and tired some days she is asleep others she is awake. She isn't in pain. She can talk but doesn't, other than a few words, she has no memory but seems to know us, she eats and drinks sometimes feeds herself.
Even when diagnosed she never once talked about it or showed any emotion. We know she is very sick and the end is likely to be near but everyday we do not know what to expect. Has anyone else experienced anything similar?
Thanks
