Hi 

My dad now has Stage 4 cancer, previously had a stent and chemo 2020 and got the all clear in March 2021 for pancreatic cancer. 
 

However in October 2021 the cancer has returned and spread and now is terminal. He has lost a scary amount of weight and is struggling to eat anything other than clear soup. The protein shakes he will not consume any more as these are just passing straight through him and he is not strong enough to rush to the toilet. 
 

He has had 2 rounds of chemo, however he is traumatised and will not return to the hospital he attended a few weeks ago as he was there for 9 hours! Bearing in mind he is extremely weak. We are currently waiting to hear if he can attend a clinic closer to home as he will not re-attend this hospital. 
 

He feels like he is deteriorating and cannot manage any food, does anyone have any advice of things to try, any advice at all is much appreciated as we are out of ideas. Covid has really affected the ability to get any proper help they are amazing and doing what they can but we can't help but feel that the support is not there.
