I'm sorry to hear about your Father's diagnosis and that unfortunately he's not been able to tolerate the treatments available. It's understandably a difficult time for you all. 

It's difficult for us to give any kind of time frame. His clinical team will be the best people to talk to this about although I understand that that may be difficult if your Father is present.

Dear Jenn,

Thank you for your reply. My sister just got a call today from one of the Mcmillian  nurses   to put palliative  care in place  for my father.

So will ask the team. As the consultant  my father is under, they keep on taking  his bloods and carrying  out CT scans but if no treatment  is given then what purpose does it is serving, so they will look into  this.

Hi, I'm so sorry to read about your fathers condition, my dad has also been diagnosed with B cell lymphoma, he had been getting chemo but after last MRI we have been told the chemo is not working and the tumour has progressed, I'm not sure what happens next because they have stopped the matrix chemo and put him on steroids.

I hope your father is keeping well, if you could share your experience now I would be so grateful, feeling lost and have no idea what we are going to face

Hi Thank you for message. I'm sorry too to hear about your  father. 

My father is not on any steriods. All his treatments  have been stopped due to his fraility due to his age.

The gp has started making home visits to see How's he coping  and also  my father  has  been referred  to palative  care which they say is not needed now but things could change  any moment.

You just have to be strong and have courage  to face the reality. Believe  me you feel much stronger  if you face the reality.
