I had a lumpectomy and radiotherapy 2019 finished December. I sm now getting pain in my rib just under the left breast . Is this caused by radiotherapy?
Hello there, I'm exactly the same! My treatments finished in 2019....and sometimes the ribs feel very tender....I haven't spoken to my GP but I think it's highly likely to be from the rads.....Is your pain constant?
I can understand you asking, but I'm afraid I can't be sure what is causing this pain. Sometimes radiotherapy can cause late effects so this could be a possibility, but it could be something else as well. I think the best thing to do is to let your GP or breast care team know and see what they think.
