Hello love,
I found the rads built up I had almost 5 weeks in total. Mention the sickness to the rads team. For me it was fatigue that built up over the weeks...
good luck x
Hello Heddi and thanks for posting,
I am sorry to learn how terrible you are feeling today.
Radiotherapy often causes noticeable fatigue, and it can cause nausea and sickness, but when used as an additional treatment for breast cancer this isn't so common. I only mention this in case something else is the matter like a tummy bug.
If it is the radiotherapy, then it probably won't settle down by itself until after treatment ends. So the best thing to do is to let the doctors know and get their input - they can prescribe ant-sickness medication. There are a number of different types of anti-sickness medications, sometimes it can be trial and error to find the one that suits you the best, but one or another of them should help you to feel better and get you through the rest of your treatment plan.
I hope this is easy to sort out and that you feel a lot better soon.
All the best,
Julia
