Waiting for fish test results , got call to go in Monday , it’s hard to comprehend as I’ve been so well lately , but now Iam exhausted after having flu day after I get first results & not sleeping .. pr / er positive grade 2 invasive breast cancer also told 30percent negative for hers ( hence fish test results) , ultrasound & physical exam of armpit lymph nodes looked clear ,,
Hi Gemmouse, sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I think it is normal to feel drained. Waiting for results is the most stressful and difficult time it is very draining. To top it all you have had the flu which in itself is tiring. When do you know what treatment you will be having, will it be Monday? I had ER and PR + and HER2 - grade 2 lobular breast cancer aged 47. I had lumpectomy even though tumour was 4cm. Then had chemo and radiotherapy. It is so hard getting the news that you have cancer. Wanted to wish you luck for Monday and please let me know how you get on.
