I have recently found out I have the check2 gene mutation and have a 32% risk of developing breast cancer. This puts me at a moderate risk. I am 46 years old. My mum, grandmother and two maternal cousins have also all had breast cancer (only mum has confirmed chevk2 mutation) but I assume it was the same for nan and cousins. 
I have been on HRT for 2 years to help with perimenopause- it’s been very effective for sleep and moods.

should I stop taking HRT? As this increases my risk further?
