So today I went for my smear test but have been turned away because ive had a transvaginal ultrasound in the past 2 months. Im having to wait atleast another month to try again. Can I ask why this is? Ultrasounds arent especially vigourous or forceful in my experience so dont see how this could affect my cervix when it was two months ago.
