I went for my smear test today which I was dreading. The nurse was really lovely but she was unable to find my cervix.

she tried a longer speculum but still was unable to complete the procedure. I’m re booked in with another nurse next week but feeling really anxious and stressed. This has never happened before and I’m worried the next appointment will be just as stressful. 
has anyone had experience of this? Could it just be that she was not as experienced
