I had a 6.5cm lobular breast cancer tumour removed in a single mastectomy 17 weeks ago but only started radiotherapy on 31st December - my oncotype dx test score was 9 and I’m 55 years old and perimenopausal. I had cancer in my sentinel lymph node and so had all of the others taken out in a second operation but all 29 were clear. As yet, I’ve not been given any hormone tablets but I believe I’ll be given Letrozole and Abemaciclib after three weeks of radiotherapy. My big worry is that there has been a gap of three and a half months without any adjuvant treatment and I need an honest answer as to how likely it is to have spread please. Thank you.
