Sternoclavicular joint lump

I discovered a lump on my sternoclavicular joint a month or so ago. - c 14th November.  I was sent for an x-ray where the doctor said the result was normal - i.e. no dislocation(?). An ultrasound was then requested. I am still waiting for an ultrasound appointment. I thought lumps were a red signal and ought to get diagnosed quickly. I have an e-consult with my doctor to discuss this and recurring anaemia on 24th - i.e. in 9 days time. In the meantime I find this worrying. I also have sore glands in my neck on the left side. I am 69. How can I speed up diagnosis? And is there anything I can do whilst I wait and worry?
