When I was first diagnosed, ovarian cancer stage 1b grade 2, was informed complete hysterectomy would hopefully be a treatment. After operation I was informed, would need internal radiotherapy. Went to appointment and thought planning appointment, to learn it’s now be decided, although assured cancer free, so any treatment would be adjunct, that I need external radiotherapy over five and half weeks daily. I have checked what’s changed and they said I should not have been told latter, although all sites state this as treatment for my stage. I’ve lost trust in medical professionals as unsure what happens next, if they don’t know, is this normal part of process, as I fear goalposts keep changing.
