Essential thrombocythemia

I am recently diagnosed with essential thrombocythemia I had bone marrow test and survived have started taking Hydra,1 500 mg a day recently changed to 2 x 500 2 days a week platelets have dropped to 342

I am doing well I would like to hear from other people living with this please

Sorry to hear you have been diagnosed with essential thrombocythemia, although it is good to hear you are doing well.

You have posted on the ask the nurses section of the forum and whilst anyone is welcome to reply here you may hear from more people if you post on a different thread as well as on here.
